McCarthy made $18 million this year compared to $33 million in 2016 which put her at No. 2, thanks in part to her role in the all-female Ghostbusters remake. Watson, 27, is a newcomer to the list after Beauty and the Beast became the biggest grossing movie of the year so far at $1.26 billion. Forbes said the cumulative total earned by the world's top ten highest-paid actresses - $172.5 million - was down 16 percent from the previous year. Stone will next be seen alongside Steve Carell in Battle of the Sexes, a true-life tennis drama. |
